In one of the last films ever made by Producers Releasing Corporation, we present John Ireland, Sheila Ryan, Hugh Beaumont, and Jane Randolph starring in 1947's "Railroaded." This film was subsequently released by sister studio Eagle-Lion Films as PRC got the axe in August of 1947. Screenplay by John C. Higgins and original story by Gertrude Walker. Produced by Charles F. Riesner and directed by Anthony Mann.

Time for a 1943 crime drama from PRC as Glenda Farrell and Lyle Talbot star in "A Time For Crime." With original story by Jimmy Starr and screenplay by Arthur St. Claire and Sherman Love and additional dialog by John Vlahos (as well by material by columnists Jimmy Starr, Erskine Johnson, Edwin Schallert, and Harry Crocker), this motion picture (with Leon Fromkess in charge of production) was produced by Lester Cutler and directed by Alexis Thurn-Taxis.

Time for a Tex Ritter Monogram Western as he stars in "Cowboy From Sundown." Roscoe Ates, Carleton ( Reefer Madness ) Young, George Pembroke, and Patsy Moran are also in the cast----as well as Tex's horse White Flash. Rolland Lynch wrote the screenplay. This 1940 Edward Finney production was directed by Spencer Gordon Bennet.

From Republic Pictures in 1937, we present "Paradise Express." In this one, a small railroad is being squeezed out of business courtesy of tactics of a trucking company owned by gangsters. Grant Withers, Dorothy Appleby, and Arthur Hoyt star here. Jack Natteford and Betty Burbridge wrote the screenplay adaptation of Allan Vaughan Elston and Paul Perez's original story. Produced by Nat Levine. This picture was directed by Republic's house director, Joseph Kane.

Time for a 1947 Republic Pictures crime drama as we present "Exposed." The film stars Adele Mara, Mark Roberts, Lorna Gray, Robert Armstrong, William Haade and Bob Steele. With original story by Charles Moran and screenplay by Royal K. Cole and the aforementioned Mr. Moran, this film was produced by William J. O'Sullivan and directed by George Blair.

From Producers Releasing Corporation in 1943, we present "Girls In Chains." In this one, when a teacher loses her job because her brother-in-law happens to be a racketeer, she takes a position at a girls' reformatory. This one stars Arline Judge and Roger Clark, with Robin Raymond, Barbara Pepper, Dorothy Burgess, and Clancy Cooper. Musical score by Leo Erdody. Leon Fromkess was in charge of production. Albert Beich wrote the screenplay, based upon a story by the movie's director Edgar G. Ulmer. An Atlantis Pictures Corporation production produced by Peter R. Van Duinen and, as mention earlier, directed by the aforementioned Edgar G. Ulmer.

Besides Ken and his horse Tarzan, the cast included Dorothy ( Reefer Madness ) Short, Harry Harvey, Ted Adams, and Dorothy's Reefer Madness co-star, Dave O'Brien.

Beginning today, Welcome to Poverty Row presents a Republic Pictures serial, The Vigilantes Are Coming , with "The Eagle Strikes" as the first of 12 chapters. Robert Livingston, Kay Hughes, Guinn (Big Boy) Williams, Raymond Hatton, Fred Kohler, Robert Warick,  and William Farnum star in this chapter play. John Rathmell, Maurice Geraghty, and Winston Miller wrote the screenplay; the aforementioned Mr. Garaghty and Leslie Swabacker wrote the original story. This 1936 theatrical serial was produced by Nat Levine. Supervised by J. Laurence Wickland. Directed by Mack V. Wright and Ray Taylor. Tune in next Saturday for Chapter Two!

Francis Guihan and Joseph O'Donnell wrote the original story, which Mr. O'Donnell adapted into his screenplay. This flick was produced by Sig Neufeld and Leslie Simmonds and directed by Sam Newfield.

Patricia Harper wrote the original screenplay. This 1947 motion picture was produced by Jerry Thomas and directed by Ray Taylor.

Yes, pardners, it's a PRC picture in COLOR!!! From 1946, and in living Cinecolor, we present Eddie Dean, PRC's entry in the Singing Cowboy Contest, starring in "Song of Old Wyoming." Sarah Padden, Ian Keith, and Al "Lash" La Rue join Eddie in the cast for this one. Frances Kavanaugh wrote the original screenplay. W.T. Crespinel was the Cinecolor color supervisor. This flick was produced and directed by Robert Emmett.
