Beginning today, Welcome to Poverty Row presents a Republic Pictures serial, The Vigilantes Are Coming, with "The Eagle Strikes" as the first of 12 chapters.


Robert Livingston, Kay Hughes, Guinn (Big Boy) Williams, Raymond Hatton, Fred Kohler, Robert Warick,  and William Farnum star in this chapter play.


John Rathmell, Maurice Geraghty, and Winston Miller wrote the screenplay; the aforementioned Mr. Garaghty and Leslie Swabacker wrote the original story.


This 1936 theatrical serial was produced by Nat Levine.


Supervised by J. Laurence Wickland.


Directed by Mack V. Wright and Ray Taylor.

Joan Woodbury, Fuzzy Knight, Monte Blue, and Forrest Taylor were also in the cast. Screenplay by John McCarthy, Robert Emmett, and Al Jennings; John and Robert also wrote the original story. This movie was produced by Edward F. Finney, supervised by Lindsley Parsons,  and directed by John McCarthy.
