Trail of the Silver Spurs (1941) THE RANGE BUSTERS

From Monogram Pictures in 1941, we present The Range Busters (Ray "Crash" Corrigan, John "Dusty" King, and Max "Alibi" Terhune---along with his sidekick Elmer) in "The Trail of the Silver Spurs."

I. Stanford Jolley, Dorothy ("Refer Madess") Short, Milt Morante, George Chesebro, and Eddie Dean were also in the cast.

In this one, the Range Busters investigate a gold robbery from the Denver Mint in a supposedly deserted Arizona ghost town, but they soon find they're not the only residents with a nose for gold.

Elmer Clifton wrote the original story while Earl Snell composed the screen adaptation.

This George W. Weeks production was directed by S. Roy Luby.
