Its a Joke Son 1947



We present the first American release from Eagle-Lion Films, "It's A Joke Son," which stars Kenny Delmar as Senator Beauregard Claghorn, a character he played on Fred Allen's radio show.

 The cast includes June Lockhart, Una Merkel, Jimmy Conlin, Douglas Dumbrille, Kenneth Farrell, and Daisy the Dog.

 Original screenplay by Robert Kent and Paul Gerard Smith.

 With Bryan Foy in charge of production, this 1947 film was produced by Aubrey Schenck and directed by Ben Stoloff.

From Grand National Films in 1936, we present Tex Ritter starring in "Song of the Gringo." In this one, when Tex investigates a string of murders he ends up getting accused of the killings. Joan Woodbury, Fuzzy Knight, Monte Blue, and Forrest Taylor were also in the cast. Screenplay by John McCarthy, Robert Emmett, and Al Jennings; John and Robert also wrote the original story. This movie was produced by Edward F. Finney, supervised by Lindsley Parsons,  and directed by John McCarthy.
