From Film Classics in 1948, we present John Calver starring as The Falcon in "Devil's Cargo."


The cast includes Rochelle Hudson, Roscoe Karns, and Lyle Talbot (of future Plan 9 From Outer Space fame---or infamy).


Don Martin wrote the screenplay and Robert Tallman and Jason James wrote the original story.


Based on the character The Falcon by Michael Arlen.

From Grand National Films in 1936, we present Tex Ritter starring in "Song of the Gringo." In this one, when Tex investigates a string of murders he ends up getting accused of the killings. Joan Woodbury, Fuzzy Knight, Monte Blue, and Forrest Taylor were also in the cast. Screenplay by John McCarthy, Robert Emmett, and Al Jennings; John and Robert also wrote the original story. This movie was produced by Edward F. Finney, supervised by Lindsley Parsons,  and directed by John McCarthy.
